Community Engagement Roadtrip

Starting in April 2016, the SIW founding partners have gone on a Community Engagement Road Trip; travelling to ten different regions to gather feedback on what makes Saskatchewan a great place to live, work, and play and how best to measure that. The purpose of the road trip was to connect with key organizations, businesses, and orders of government to explore how the SIW can support them in responding to community needs.

The road trip was concluded in late summer 2016. The list and dates of the community engagement road-trip included:

  • City of Moose Jaw – Thursday, June 23rd ✔
  • City of Regina –  Wednesday, June 29th ✔
  • City of Saskatoon  – Monday, July 11th  ✔
  • City of Prince Albert – Thursday July 14th  ✔
  • Town of Creighton – Tuesday, August 23rd ✔

The information collected from the different communities visited will help to inform the individual domain reports that are currently being drafted.
